OTT platforms asked to show anti-tobacco messages

India is set to become the first country in the world to introduce anti-tobacco warnings shown on any over-the-top (OTT) streaming content under guidelines notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As per the notification released on World No Tobacco Day, publishers of online curated content displaying tobacco products, or their use will be required to display anti-tobacco spots at the beginning and middle of the concerned programme.
